Playa Las Ballenas
The name “Las Ballenas” came from the three rocks at the end of the beach that has the shape of two whales. It’s the closest beach to the Fishermen’s Village, the center of the city.
Las Ballenas Beach is one of the best in Las Terrenas because of its quietness and the comfort you can find here, in fact, there are different beach bars, restaurants, little hotels and luxury villas along the beach.
The sand is more gold than white here and the yellow and green coconut palm trees spread color in the blue sky.

It’s the most popular beach of Las Terrenas because of the presence of bars, cafès, and restaurants on the beach that attract a lot of people.
